Marvel Redesign of Shamrock

Description

I redesigned Molly Fitzgerald, the Shamrock.  It always bugged me that she was supposed to represent Ireland, like Captain Britain was for England and Captain America was for America, and all she had was green and clovers.  So I started reading up on, and researching Ireland and Irish mythology.  The Shamrock is a symbol of protection and the Holy Trinity, started by St. Patrick.  He used clovers, which were all around Ireland to illustrate to them the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  I also found the Trinity Knot, which also represents the Holy Trinity and other trinities.  They both mean protection too.
So the Clover isn't the worst Irish symbol to use I guess.
To be honest I found the antlers a long time ago, when I originally designed this.  And forgot what they mean.  But most likely involved the Celtic Irish and protection in some way.  Her power is mainly protection anyway, so I gave her combat gear and weapons... traditional Celtic Irish weapons.  I know because google said so.  And the Internet never lies right?  ;)  She carries two swords, an axe styled in the traditional ay i think, and a Woad shield.  As well as a gun, bombs, and knives.  The Shamrock on her face is meant to be more Woad warrior influence, with how they also paint their faces.  She paints a Shamrock on her face, instead of a mask or helmet.  (Google them and check them out for yourself to see what I mean.)  I tried to make her look like a modern hero who is heavily influenced by religion and ancient Celtic mythology.  I think they had something to do with Druantia.  Anyway they, like Scarlet Witch's head gear, are part of a tiara like headband thing.  Easy to put on or take off.  I tried to design her whole look keeping in mind what Grace Helbig said about her Electra Woman costume design.  That it looks like it was designed for a woman to wear in action and be comfortable and not to be sexy eye candy... something to that effect.  I figured her character could fit in with both Captain America, Avengers, and SHIELD, but also with Dr. Strange.  She could become a little more about magic, but ancient Irish Celtic Magic.  Its a rich tapestry there, any one remember the last season of Gargoyles?
I also anted to give her a different body type than the average super lady.  Also more interesting visually I think.  I drew her in her civilian clothes as Molly to show her tattoos that are covered up by her uniform.  They too are traditional Celtic Woad Irish I believe.  I imagine she would be a strong female character, a solo agent for her government who would become an Avenger and a liaison SHIELD agent. Maybe she regains her magic powers.  Maybe she is called back into duty or returns on her own, leading Molly to be Shamrock again.  While not being a secret agent for her Government and an Avenger or fighting evil with Dr. Strange, Molly works at her own hair salon, and manages it too.  This could also lead to a fun backdrop of colorful supporting characters.  Where Peter Parker has his Aunt May and the Daily Bugle, and now Horizon and Parker Labs, Molly would have the regular customers or less regulars showing up, and her crew of Stylists, and people helping her manage it.  There could also be the towns people too, could contrast the small city she lives in with the big action she gets into.
I wish i could draw this, but I don't have time and am not being paid for this, but I imagine when she is using her powers in a fight we would see an aura of ghost like energy.  It would be fun to draw these ghostly energies helping her while also flowing with her movements.  I also see her power being represented a little similar to how Nega-Sonic Teenage Warhead is shown in the Deadpool trailers.  i64.tinypic.com/23vyjj7.gif (at the time I am posting this link it should be a gif from the Deadpool trailer.)
Oh!  I almost forgot!  She also has Irish Captain's bars on her shoulders.  And Irish Military tags on her collar.

Here is a link to my inspirationboards (both) that I used while making the Shamrock design:
