Authority + X-Men = X-Authority
Former members of Storm-SHIELD, a government controlled agency of super powers and agents who protect the planet, they left the agency and forged a new team without the politics and bureaucracy. The team members include Scott Summers AKA Apollo has solar related powers of solar absorption, flight, accelerated healing, enhanced strength, and (as of yet) uncontrollable solar radiation eye beams. He must wear a protective visor all the time. His boyfriend’s past is unknown except that he was called Logan. He is a bioengineered human weapon. Code Named Weapon Midnighter, Logan has enhanced strength, speed, senses including sight, hearing smell, touch, taste, etc. He was also engineered to have bone claws that pop from his knuckles. Then his bones were laced with an unbreakable metal. Logan and Apollo got married and adopted a genetically altered daughter who was sought after to be a weapon. They named her Natalie Summers. She had the power or telekinesis, telepathy, and time travel. When their protection was no longer enough Natalie had no choice and time skipped into the Speed Force outside of time. The team is led by Ororo Sparks. She was born in Africa in the 1900s to a rich family who were maybe Kings and Queens. Around 1919 her powers manifested. She could control the molecules of the weather. She could manipulate the weather, charge the atoms in a cloud to produce rain or electricity. She could also control the energy of the weather to blast it out like bolts of lightning from her hands. This control also manifested as her inadvertently stopping her molecules from aging. She spent much of the 1920s travelling Europe and then during the 30s the travelled to America where she stayed. She eventually met a young man named Henry Xavier, eventually codenamed the Weatherman, who would later go on to found the superhuman unit of Storm-SHIELD. He grew powers shortly after meeting Ororo, telekinetic and telepathy which only grew as he got older. As did his intelligence. He began experimenting on his own mind and body, enhancing himself along the way. Increasing his powers. Eventually he was able to move his mind into younger bodies, which he had cloned of himself to not have any brain function. Sort of back up bodies. When the team was finally founded in 1992 Henry was 97 and already on his eighth body. She helped him create the unite and became their leader. However she had no knowledge of Storm SHIELD’s and Xavier’s experiments and enhancements on human agents. Apollo and Logan/Midnighter were two of those creations. Most of the team, in fact, were somehow enhanced by Xavier’s experiments. Another member, a much younger member than Xavier or Ororo, Apollo or Logan, is Angela "Forge " Ramsey codenamed Engineer. Angie is the daughter of a Mexican-American woman and a Native American man of the Cheyenne nation. She was born and raised in Brooklyn. Angie has the power to understand all languages, including machines and technology, she can comprehend any technology and build anything he can think of. At a young age she invented nanotechnology that she called the Phalanx. She eventually used this technology to rebuild or lost hand and leg. By the age of 20 she had almost completely bonded with the Phalanx technology she now called Warlock. Using Warlock she can alter her own body and turn her arms or any part of her body into anything, usually guns, she can think of. Wanda Jeroen Thornedike is the most recent incarnation of a being selected to be a magic power called the Scarlet Doctor. Shen Li-Worthington is the heiress of a multimillion dollar company. She gained the powers of wings allowing her to fly as well as talons on her hands and feet. Her codename is Swift-Angel. Benjamin-Hawksmoor-Gaveedra-7, AKA Shatterstar, was another agent created by Xavier and Storm-SHIELD. He was named after each scientist who worked on him, and he was the seventh test subject. He was engineered to have increased speed, agility, strength, stamina, durability, reflexes, balance, coordination, accelerated healing, and enhanced learning abilities. His bones were made to be stronger and he and his muscles were charged with imprints of muscle memory as well as extensive training. Like Logan he also has animal like enhanced senses including sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing. The skin on the souls of his feet and palm sides of his hands were genetically engineered to be incredibly dense in order to allow him to never need shoes or gloves and allow for more mobility. Unlike the previous model Shatterstar was not human before his enhancements and was actually born in a cloning lab.
